- You will need to do between 20 - 30 min of silent reading.
- You will need to finish the Are You Ready task for Chance and Data this morning (it has been assigned to you on mathletics)
- You will need to also work on you Prayers for Religion as it is an assessment task.

Wednesday 8th June
Firstly, I would like to thank each and every one of you for a fantastic day yesterday. We had some students that showed true leadership and lead a basketball team and also the students who were asked to help Mr. Bluck, I have it on good authority that you all worked as a team and got the job done fast. Mr. Bluck is very impressed! For the students who stayed in the classroom, I was so impressed with how well you worked while I was running teacher conferences. You should all be very proud of yourselves.
9am - 11am
Today we will continue with teacher conferences. There are a couple of tasks here for you to complete or if you need to go over your iWeb and make sure it is up to date. You could make sure your laptop is ready for you teacher conference by arranging and correctly naming your files.
Please use this time wisely!

After watching the video, split class into three. Make up the house of representative complete with government, opposition and a few independents. The government want to introduce Nuclear Power to Australia. What would the discussion in the Parliament House of Representatives look and sound like? Representatives will have to nominate a Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and the few independents. You will need to brainstorm in your groups what you should to present the opinion of your party and put this onto an etherpad under the heading 'FOR NUCLEAR POWER' (Etherpad 1) or 'AGAINST NUCLEAR POWER' (Etherpad 2). Independents can wander the room in and listen to what groups have to say.
